About the Role:


CME has some very exciting projects commencing in 2023 and and requires experienced Leading Hand Electricians with the right attitude and a keen desire to join our team.

The role is to primarily support Managers, Supervisors, other Leading Hands, Electricians, and Apprentices, with the implementation of electrical solutions. This includes installation, maintenance, testing and certification of electrical systems, as a leader in integrated electrical solutions within sports lighting, sustainable energy, construction, and facility servicing sectors.

This position requires a strong focus and adherence to all CME / Industry safety procedures, policies, HSEQ management standards, and guidelines.

You'll be consistently driving and holding true to the CME DNA, with focus on the Core Values that align with our Vision to be the best company to work for, the best company to work with.


Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Commercial fitout project works

• Electrical infrastructure upgrades

• Emergency breakdowns

• Switchboard changeovers

• Capacity to fault finding & problem solve

• LED lighting upgrade

• Preventative maintenance and breakdowns

• Customer service focus

• Attention to detail for job reporting and documentation


The right person:

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• An elite can-do attitude

• A strong work ethic

• Willingness to work an ‘On Call’ roster

• Highly developed skills and knowledge

• Ability to work unsupervised to strict deadlines

• Consistent work history + 2 references

• Computer literacy skills – including the ability to use internal platforms and systems to

perform the role.

• Able to work flexible hours and willing to travel for projects

• Well presented, with high attention to detail and good communication skills, and passionate

about doing an impeccable job.

• A Current Police Check no older than 3 months

• A DCSI clearance

• Willing to undergo a medical and/or drug test


Licences Required:

• Electrical trade qualification and verifiable industry experience working as an Electrician.

• Valid South Australian Electrical Licence

• Low Voltage Rescue and CPR certification (to be renewed annually)

• Valid South Australian Drivers Licence

• High Risk Work Licence (LF/WP)

• White Card

• Working with Children Clearance (WWCC)

• Working with Vulnerable People Screening

• A current National Police Clearance (to be renewed annually)

• Working at heights


Not required but an advantage:

• CBUS knowledge

• UPS experience

• Security/CCTV

• Communication/Data
